The flame spinnerbait is designed with a heavy wire frame and a large, flat head. The heavy frame gives this model spinnerbait lots of body and head vibration. This allows the fish to use his or her lateral line to help locate the bait. The big, flat head creates a larger profile. This helps when the fish are sight feeding, which is most of the time! Stephen Headrick, "The Smallmouth Guru", recommends selecting head weight based on how deep you intend to fish. The deeper you’re fishing the heavier your spinnerbait should be. Use the nighttime models for after dark angling over weedbeds or around laydowns or other forms of shallow structure. At times, special colors are available. Contact us for more information. |
