The spring fishing season is in full swing here in SW Wisconsin.  The Mississippi River near LaCrosse, WI has finally receeded to good, fishable levels and the fish are biting!  Largemouth and smallmouth bass are on fire, with local and regional tournaments taking nearly a 4 pound average to win.  The water temp is in the low 60's.  Bass are starting to spawn in most areas.

Walleye and sauger are post spawn and are feeding good again, heading for their summer areas.  Big perch are still being caught and the bluegill and crappie action is starting to heat up also.

The Wisconsin River is down to nearly summer levels.  We've had excellent smallmouth action in recent weeks.  Catfish are starting to become active.

Summer is a beautiful time to enjoy our great area.  If a vacation or fishing trip is in your plans, please get in touch!
