Everything is about 2 weeks early here in SW Wisconsin.  It was 90 degrees here today!  We usually don't see those kind of temps until July or August.  Fishing is excellent right now.  Largemouth bass are spawning big time right now.  Smallmouth bass have spawned and are now moving to summer patterns.  River levels have fallen which allow main channel fishing on wingdams and rocky shorelines for walleyes and smallies.  Bluegills are on beds in some of the area lakes and rivers.  Flyrod fishing with poppers and rubber spiders are producing some nice limits of gills in the 9 inch range.

The Wisconsin River is nearing summer levels, with the water temps being in the low 70's.  Smallmouth bass fishing has been very good in recent weeks.   We have caught some nice channel cats fishing dip bait on river rigs anchored above snags.  They are real close to spawning.

It's a beautiful time of the year to enjoy some excellent fishing.  For more information please contact me!
