Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 9/4/11 The lake showed signs of improvement this past week, and with the heavy rain coming in I expect we will start to see the top water improve tremendously. This past week bites were a little better, scattered but steady and size and numbers went up just about every day. It’s been a long hot summer but the end is near and signs are pointing towards improvement already. The days presented different patterns as one day we had a top water bite most of the day and the next day the worm bite seemed to be the answer. The fish weren’t grouped but if you worked at it the bite was good enough to have some fun. Certainly overcast skies helped as we had one morning where the clouds lingered around and fishing was good while they did! There is plenty of action rite around the corner so it’s time to get back on the water and give it shot, I believe you see some better results. Come fish with me I have days and guides available to fish with you!
