Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 5/28/11 This past week has been as good a fishing week as we have had on Guntersville; the bass are spreading the lake. The bite is easy, as you can find fish on just about any pattern with any kind of bait; the top water bite is strong and if you want to fish deep you can do that also. Guntersville is in the time of year that any fisherman, regardless of experience or time on the water, can catch fish. If you like worm fishing it is great, top water is great, cranking is good, just any way you want it there is a bass that can be caught by you! Shallow, or deep and all depths in-between the bass are biting and you can find a way to have some fun. This week the numbers were strong the size was fair and we had fun everyday on the water. As the summer moves in the grass will thicken and we should see the flipping bite get strong also. I do have 6 hour trips available for those that want to be off the water before the day gets too hot. Fishing is great and there are many good times to come!
