Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 1/23/10 The warm days are moving the bass up on the flats, and fishing is picking up everyday. There is still a little deeper cold water to deal with but we are seeing a move to pre-spawn and the best days are ahead! When the deeper water starts to warm rattle bait fishing will be on and you’ll just have to reel and hold on! This past week we saw some definite change to the better, the bass are moving up during the warm parts of the day and we took advantage of it a few days this past week, boating some good numbers and some good size bass. Not all the time on the water was created equal it seemed that you had a window of time opportunity but if you were there at the correct time you could have some fun. Most our fish were caught a little slower with Punisher Shaky Head with Mister Twister Comida’s. However when we were in the right place at the rite time we did find them hitting rattle baits and they were good quality bass. It’s only a matter of time, the best time of the year is near, and I’m booking trips everyday now for the spring and beyond. Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you!
