Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 11/20/11 The fishing is was again at its best on Guntersville this past week, we are experiencing some great daily catches and the bass are as active as they have been all year and certainly all fall. Numbers are up, size is good and the bass are schooling all over the lake as they should in the fall. The bad news is if you’re going fishing don’t delay and wait too long as we are nearing the end of the fall bite and the bass will shut down just all of a sudden as if someone turned off a water facet. We are still catching fish on top water, with several different types of baits from traditional frogs to Zara Spooks and all in-between. As has been the case since the FLW was here the Alabama rig is for sure catching fish. Winter is close the bigger fish will move out and bites will slow down as we move forward.
