johnbomkamp.jpgMy name is Capt. John Bomkamp and I live in Southwest Wisconsin. I have been fishing all my life, including over 25 years as a tournament bass fisherman, competing in several trails locally, regionally and nationally. I now operate a professional guide service on the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. I specialize in smallmouth and largemouth bass, but also guide for walleyes, northern pike and panfish. Mississippi River Pools 8, 9 and 10 from LaCrosse, WI to Prairie du Chien, WI are the waters I guide on, as well as the lower Wisconsin River. This part of the Wisconsin River is virtually undeveloped, offering some of the most beautiful scenery and fantastic fishing found anywhere in this great country of ours!
