       The head design of the Aspirin Head Jig was originally the brainchild of legendary Dale Hollow smallmouth angler Billy Westmoreland. The head is round, thin and mounted vertically on the hook shank. This creates an enticing wiggle as it falls, rises, or simply swims through the water. Stephen Headrick recommends fishing this style jig during the winter and spring seasons. “It’s at its best off 45 degree banks. Cast it out and allow it to fall to the bottom. Then pull it up with a couple of sharp jerks and then let it fall back to the bottom. Repeat this all the way back to the boat.” Aspirin Head Jigs are currently manufactured in three sizes; 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4 ounce weights and come in 7 different colors. Of course, all Aspirin Head Jigs are tied with Punisher Craft Hair and the heads are finished with the best and hardest paint available. * Special colors are available from time to time.
